Which colour tones fall between two of any given colours?

With this function you can calculate the colour development between two colour tones. You'll create harmonic gradients because of the same distance between each development step.

The picture shows a system in the three dimensional CIELAB colour space and the connection between zinc yellow and azure blue. Which colours are close to the connecting line?

Brief Instruction

  1. Open "Colour harmony" and select the fourth button of the harmony variants.
  2. Add the starting colour.
  3. Add the resulting colour.
  4. Indicate whether the results should be displayed in the colour system or in L*a*b*, HLC, RGB or CMYK.
  5. A double click on any colour inserts it as the new starting or ending colour.
  6. Change the direction of the gradient with a click on the button below the final colour.
